I wish this woman and her husband and law enforcement could have traded places.

There were no cell phones in 1989, so the woman and her husband did the only thing they could think of: they chased after the van. They were able to keep pace with it for a little while, but eventually lost it on the streets of Chattanooga. Luckily, the woman was able to write down the license plate number of the van, which she provided to police.
