We’ve heard this story before. A man and woman fall in love and get married. The man ends up being a philanderer and a leech. The woman plans on leaving him, but before she can, she mysteriously vanishes.
It’s infuriating when a husband’s guilt is glaringly obvious, and yet investigators aren’t able to find any concrete evidence tying him to the disappearance. Even worse is when the husband moves on with his life while the wife’s friends and family stand by helplessly.
But, because God is good, the husband does not always get away with the perfect crime. Sometimes the good-for-nothing creep gets precisely what’s coming to him. What’s even more satisfying is when his own careless actions lead to his downfall. This is one of those stories.
