This poor girl went through so much.

Shannon Matthews was taken into care after her mother and stepfather’s trails. In court, it was reported that Shannon was suffering badly from her ordeal and was having constant nightmares, resulting in regular psychotherapy counselling sessions. She was given a new identity and was placed with a foster family. She is now 22 years old.
